Speranza Behavioral Health works with Highmark Insurance for addiction treatment and mental health care. Highmark provides behavioral health and substance use disorder coverage as part of its health insurance plans. Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, Highmark is required to cover behavioral health treatment — including addiction treatment and mental health services — at the same level as medical care.
